I've been glued!!

Mom got everyone up early yesterday (Friday). We all (except for dad) piled into a very dirty Airedale Taxi (that's why you can't actually see the taxi- mom wouldn't let me take a picture of it because she needs to wash it). We were going for a LONG ride. (I am not into long rides).
She stopped at the gas station and filled up. The two hooman pups are in the back seat. I got the passenger seat all to myself. This is what I looked like when I left that morning...... Take a good close look, cuz I'll never be the same again!We drove for about two hours. Mom knew exactly where we were going. We got to the Twin Cities and headed South. The hooman, pup, Jordan had to pee so we stopped. The hoomans ate at Subway while I stayed in the truck in my cell (yes, she took the crate with....she's so EVIL sometimes)! Did I get anything to eat?? NO!!

When they were done eating, they took me out of my cell and let me run around a bit to stretch my legs. Little did I know what was coming next....

This is Diane, she is a really nice lady. She was stripping me of my puppy fur. Mom kept telling me what a good girl I was and I hardly moved at all. She (Diane) used this razor thingy and it didn't hurt me at all until she got to my arm pits. Diane raises Airedales, and is a groomer too.

Next, she looked at my ears and said that they were pretty good looking all by themselves, but my left ear was a little weaker in the cartilage department so she used this stuff on them- this glue and glued them right to my head. My hoomans laughed at me and called me DOOFUS face. I thought only Tanner was a DOOFUS face, but as you can see, I am a DOOFUS face. When Diane was all done, she introduced us to her Airedales, and to a litter of puppies she had that were about four weeks younger than me. When Diane was all done, we said good-bye and headed home. I slept all the way home. I went in the back seat by Kendra. There was NO WAY I was going to sit in the seat next to the Evil momma! I was exhausted from all that grooming!

This is what I look like now, ears glued and all. I don't really bother them for the most part. Sometimes I like to scratch them, but mom tells me "no". Here I am having my breakfast. Can't a girl get any peace?

Here is the DOOFUS face. I wouldn't let momma get any closer. A girls gotta do what a girls gotta do. I put my paw down and told her that enough is enough. She assures me that my ears won't stay like this forever, but I don't know? She tells me how pretty I am and squeezes me tight. I guess I am pretty, right? AND if this will help me get some boyfriends, like Sunshade then it will be worth it!

I got the best collar for Christmas from Santa Paws.......

It says, "I didn't ask to be a PRINCESS but if the tiara fits" I guess you could say the tiara fits so I am wearing it!

MERRY CHRISTMAS!!

I know I am a day late, but I wanted to share with all of you some pictures from my very first Christmas! First of all, my hooman brother, Jordan wants to say THANK-YOU to Miss Sunshade the SuperDALE for these GRRREAT stockings! He put them on right after he opened them up and they haven't came off yet! Kendra wants to send her own thank-you to Miss Sunshade so, Sunshade if you are reading this.....you will be getting a special thank you from Kendra.

I know that I was telling you all that I was afraid that I was on Santa's noddy list. Well, here is a picture that mom took of our tree right after Santa came.....Boy, those hooman pups must have been REALLY GOOD!

Here is a picture of the furry friends presents after Santa came......That big rawhide is what Santa brought Whiskers, and Sox got some cat nip carrots. The rest of the pressies were MINE! I was REALLY good!!

Then we got to open our pressie from Miss Sunshade. Since this was my first Christmas, I wasn't very good at opening gifts, so Kendra kindly helped me out. I am thinking, though, that I didn't really require her help!
Miss Sunshade sent me an Airedale Taxi sign to hang in mom's truck. I like to ride in the truck now, no more crying, so this is a big deal. I didn't know that just because I am an Airedale that I get my own TAXI??!!??

I got two KONG'S from Santa- a bone shaped Kong and a regular shaped Kong, and some Kong stuffing. Mom put my Airedale Taxi sign with the stuff I got from Santa.
I got two new toys, too. I got a rubber squeaky truck from Jordan, and that other doggie toy came from Santa, too. My first Christmas with my new family was wonderful. The Christmas card exchange was tons of fun (I need to post about that, too). I am wishing all my furry friends a very Merry Christmas and prosperous New Year!

Cat 4 Sale

This is my big feline friend "Sox". I spend most of my time chasing her around the basement.
Kendra gets mad at me if I chase her alot. I have to compete with this cat when it comes to Miss Kendra. This is her Kitty. She ignores me if that fat cat is around. Sometimes Whisker's and I gang up on her and chase her into her room. Then mom gets mad and shuts the door so we can't get her. So I was thinking......using my Aire brain......I thought.....I should sell this cat! What a wonderful way to get rid of her and have Kendra ALL TO MYSELF!! If anyone is interested in this kitty cat, send me a personal e-mail and I'll see what I can do. But DON'T TELL KENDRA!

Happy Birthday, Whiskers!

It was Whisker's 12th birthday on Christmas eve. Since we were busy visiting relatives, I didn't get a chance to post a birthday message to him. Mom tried really hard to get a "good" photo of him but he is SO camera shy! He actually shook while she was taking this picture. So, while it isn't the best picture of him, I still wanted to show everyone how handsome he is! Happy Birthday, Old boy!

"I'm Back!!!" or as mom say's "Naughty or Nice"

Hello to all my furry friends!
Mom FINALLY let me on line. Well, maybe not. She's not looking so I snuck around and went on line. One of the human pups left the Internet on. I won't say which one...... Thanks, Jordan!

Anyhow, I haven't been feeling very good. Seems I caught some kind of "bug". At least that is what mom called it and she had to haul me in to that evil Dr. lady. I won't go in to all the gory details, but I have to eat some special food for a couple days and mom gives me these pills that taste horrible. I'm still spunky as ever though. So this "bug" that I have isn't slowing me down any! That's where the "Naughty or Nice" comes in.

Mom said I have to be nice. She told all of us (Kendra and Jordan, too) that if we aren't nice Santa Paws/Claus won't come. She said its getting close so if we aren't good then we have less time to straighten out and there is more of a chance that the man in red will skip our house. I tried to tell her that I didn't mean to chew the cord to her new fiber optic angel that her friend Shirley gave her. Don't tell Shirley, PLEASE! AND, I don't take the ornaments off the Christmas tree and chew on them on purpose! I don't chase the cat or be mean to her- she gets in my way and purposely gets me in trouble! She lays under the tree and I can't help it that I MUST go under the tree and get her out! You tell me, tell me please, does this face look naughty to you??

O-K, so maybe this picture that mom snapped of me shows me being a "little" naughty. That wasn't the picture I was going to show you. I was referring to this picture. Don't I look cute? I just got out of the bath tub! My evil dad gave me a bath today. I was outside rolling in the grass and got all dirty. Then my evil mom brushed me. Then, being the model that I am, I posed for this picture. Is it just me, or is this an original Airedale head tilt? It's a close up. Mom wanted me to show all of you just how sweet I am. (Mom here: Yeah, right, Lillie! What are you doing on that computer?) JORDAN! help me!

Or, look at this one. I laid down and put on my almost perfect pet face. Then mom kept snapping pictures.

The next picture is what really got me in trouble. See, the hoomans were making dinner. They were having pizza, and mom was making it in her pizza maker. I will admit that the pizza smelled SOOOO good. I really wanted some.

So I tried really hard to get it. No, No I didn't get it. EVEN though it looks like I did. Mom was taking a picture of the pizza, and my human pup sister, Kendra lifted me up and stuck my nose practically right in that pizza. Mom snapped the picture at the exact same time. So I really couldn't reach the pizza even if I wanted to.

Only five more days til Christmas. I promised mom that I'd be good. I'll let you know how I am doing. I'm sure I'll be able to do it. If Jordan can do it then I can!

I've been Christmas tagged

I've been tagged by my friend, Sunshade. What's tagged mean? Is someone going to stick a tag on my ear? Anyhow, she said that this is what I need to do in order to play the game. Maybe I should ask Santa for some fashion tag?
