I am not a POODLE for DOGS sake !!!!!

I know that I haven't been around lately.....and I'm really sorry. My hoomans went on vacation and sent me to jail (mom: uhm, I think it was rather like a spa, Lillie). I hearded that my husband the handsomest BT on the planet earth was missing me. I miss him too. Can't he please come visit me??? He could have come to see me instead of going to the BEACH!!!!
Anyhow, lately I've been attending several soccer events that my hooman pups participate in. I really love going to the soccer field and watching.......except when I get bonked with the ball!! That happend to me two times tonight!! So, now on to the point of this blog.
I sit at the soccer field with my MOM and I am such a gooderst girlie. I let peoples I don't know and kiddies that I don't know touch and pet me. Most of the time they ask my mom what kind of dog I am and mom will tell them. But for some reason there are some stoopid hoomans out there that seem to think I'm a POODLE!!!! No offense to you poodles out there, but I AM NOT A POODLE!!! I DON'T LOOK LIKE A POODLE! POODLES DO NOT HAVE BRoWN FUR WITH A BLACK SADDLE. Sorry...I was yelling but it irckks the he$$ out of me that people would think that I am a poodle. Yes, I have curly hair. Yes I am big like a standard poodle, but I don't have a poodle head and poodles do not have perfect ears like me or have a square head like me. I tried to tell these people by yelling (try barking) at them that I am an AIREDALE!!!
I am a bootiful, friendly AIREDALE that LOVES to go to the soccer field and be called an AIREDALE!!
That's all for now. I need to go settle down. All this venting makes a girlie really tired.

Tanner if you are out there I LOVE YOU AND MISS YOU TOO. I will try to be a better blogger but mom hogs the compooter and won't help me blog.
See you next time.......

Wedding Crashers? OR Goin' to the Chapel cuz I'm gonna see Tanner's mom and dad get married!

Ruby had the bestest idea! Ruby said that she would get aire ruby ready and take WHOEVER wanted to go to the wedding......urh "crash" the wedding of Joey and my cuterest husband, Tanner's mom and dad! Isn't that a GrEat idEa? They will be so exciterest to have us dogs there cuz we need to make sure that the WeDdinG cake is safe to eat and the other food is safe to eat and that the BeeR is safe to drink!! We wouldn't want the wedding couple to get sick at their specialist day!! SO, if you want to come with us, head on over to Ruby's blog, and let her know you want to join us!! The MOre the MerRier. I can't wait to see my little pooky bear, Tanner!!
Remember, it is proper ediket (what in the world is ediket?) to bring a present to the wedding and I think it would be most appropriate to bring an annOyIng toY for the boyz. That way when the NewLeeWeds want some alone time (have to keep this page family friendly but you get the idea.....) Joey and Tanner can take the annoying toys and pester the NewLeeWeds! So see you soon on AireRuby and we're off to the WeDding of the Year!!

Back! Finally.....

WHAT'S UPPPPP?????????????????????????????????
Hi Tanner! Hi Everyone! I'm back. My hoomans were gone this weekend and made me go to the kennels and I didn't like it very much! Now I am back and I am so excitederest cuz MY husband, Tanner's mom & dad are getting MARRIED!!! Isn't that great news? Now I can't wait until the big vows get taken but I can't get to Arizona because I don't have a ride but I'd like to wish them well and if I could be there I'd ask Tanner's mom if I could be the flowerest girl, and Tanner could be the ring bearerest. Not like bearering naked but carrying the ring. So I am back and I say to you all WHAT's UP??????????????????????????????????I LUV YOU TANNER!!!!! YOU ARE SO CUTEREST!! I LOVE BOSTON TERRORESTS!! Mr. Whiskers told me to cut the caps cuz that means I'm yelling. SORRY!! I'm just so exciterest that I'm out of that darned kennels and that I'm back home with my family and school will be out soon and the pups will be home with me for the entire summer!!

Later Dudes and Dudettes!

HELP! Part III Joe Stains to the rescue

BUSTED
So AireRuby flew my two detectives in tonight...and it was a good thing too!I knew it wouldn't take Joe Stains long and he'd have the case cracked and my name would be cleared. It's ALWAYS the quiet, innocent looking one! We didn't even know he LIKED to play! Is that Madden's 2007 you are playing?
While Joe was off doing detective work, me and Tanner got to spend some quality time together. It didn't take him long at all to figure out that Mr. Whiskers ate the controller and blamed ME!!

Head on over to Joe Stains blog to see the "Master Detective" and tell him what an AWESOME job he did. Thanks so much Detective Joey! I really appreciated your help.

Now, where did Mr. Whiskers put that PS2 control? I think its my turn to play........
Many thanks also to AireRuby for the transportation!

So I know I told you all I needed Tanner's help. I REALLY did. Something was missing, and I knew there was only one man urrr DOG that could help me. I needed to get Detective Stains on the case and maybe just MAYBE he'd let Tanner help him out.

So, I'm calling on Detective Joseph Stains and his side kick Tanner to help me. I need AIRE RUBY to fly them in. This is SERIOUS business.

THE PS2 CONTROL IS MISSING, AND MY FAMILY BLAMES ME!

3 days post-op

Hi! It's Mr. Whiskers reporting for the little gimp again. Umh, I mean "sweet" Lillie. I am really getting sick and tired of having to wait on her ALL of the time. When mom and dad and the hooman pups leave, they make me be in charge of taking care of Lillie. She can get quite demanding at times! I'm sure glad its the weekend and the hoomans will be around now to watch after the little cripple. She's such a B-A-B-Y!!
I thought some of you may be interested in seeing some pictures of her. They are kind of gross so if you have a queazy stomach you may not want to look.

Mom is threatening her with a lamp shade if she doesn't start leaving the incision alone. For some reason she thinks she needs to wash it constantly. WHY she would want to wash something that looks like that, I do not know.
A message from Amy:
Thanks to everyone for checking in on us. It really helps us with what we are going through. Lillie is feeling a bit better- not so much crying and whining. It is very difficult for her to go into a sit or down position. She is doing well with toe touching with her injured leg, but occasionally will walk on three legs. She has adapted to the situation well. We try to keep her confined as much as we can. She is usually in the bedroom and we use a baby gate to keep her in a small area. Right now it is easy to keep her confined because she isn't feeling well, but in a day or two that may change. She is very much an Airedale and has a mind of her own if you know what I mean. Some of you may remember that I told you that Dr. Cal indicated her issue was congenital. He ended up putting three pins in her knee cap to stabilize things. She had sever malaligent of the patella (knee) and tibia crest (the tibia is the shin bone). He said that it actually was at an angle and very mishapen. They straignhtened it out- he said after they pinned it they could tell right away that it was in alignment. He said we were fortunate that her ACL didn't rupture because it was very irritated. Her left side also has this issue. He said she has a grade I/IV patella luxation but because the alignment is much better he doesn't anticipate future problems on that side, and that we should just monitor it. The good news of the entire situation is that this didn't occur because of trauma. When this first happened we thought it was because Jordan fell on top of her. She and Jordan like to play football and the game, as it is in real life gets a little rough. We just need to watch her and keep her quiet for the next 6 weeks. She has managed to really be able to do alot of things with three legs. She can go up and down the steps with assistance on three legs. Sometimes we use a towel as a sling to help lift her Rt hind leg. She doesn't really like the towel but will let us support her with our hands and arms. She is very tolerant most of the time. When she isn't tolerant is because she is hurting. Its amazing to see her be able to function so well with three legs.
If Lillie is feeling better she will post tomorrow. The big game is tomorrow and she was hoping to be able to "party" a bit with the family. We said she could join in the festivities but if she got too out of control we'd have to send her to her room. Have a great weekend everyone and thanks again for being so supportive to us!!
